TrueAuth Desktop
Ramping in production · No integration or SDK update required

TrueAuth Desktop is Atomic’s latest authentication method, built to improve web conversion. Like TrueAuth Native, it lets a member sign in directly on the payroll provider’s website. We are ramping traffic to payroll systems where it outperforms StandardAuth. Coverage is expected to reach 65% of web traffic by Q3 and 85% by the end of 2026.
Direct Deposit Setup Page
Production ready · Enabled via Console

Customers who present a dedicated direct deposit setup page before entering Atomic’s flow often see higher conversion than those who take members straight into Atomic. The page strengthens a member’s mental model by showing traditional setup methods alongside a call to action to switch with Atomic.
The new Direct Deposit Setup Page feature gives every customer that approach without building it in-house. We are testing it with specific clients to understand its impact across automatic and manual switches.
Improved StandardAuth login
Early testing starts in May

StandardAuth has been redesigned to behave like a traditional login page, to increase how often members retry their credentials.
- All inputs on a single screen
- Invalid credential messaging shown on the login form itself
TrueAuth Desktop and CoAuth remain our preferred web authentication methods, but this is expected to lift web conversion and the 15 to 20% of long-tail mobile StandardAuth traffic.
A/B tests
Expected late May 2026
- Progress bar: a progress indicator in the navbar as members move through the funnel, testing whether seeing how few steps remain keeps more members in setup
- TrueAuth interstitial: on average 22% of members drop out on this screen, so we are testing variations of visuals and copy, followed by the confirmation screen TrueAuth Desktop already uses
Other UI adjustments and customizations
Expected mid-May 2026
- Expanded copy customization options
- Removed a redundant confirmation step from the Atomic manual PDF flow
