Impact
- Transact can open as a form sheet. Set presentationStyle to FORM_SHEET and Transact opens as a partial-height sheet over your app, with the app dimmed behind it. Full screen is still the default, so existing integrations behave the same.
- The requirements tables are update Earlier releases already required newer Kotlin, AGP, and compileSdk versions than the tables listed, so most apps need no changes. The corrected minimums:
- Latest: Kotlin 2.1 or later, where the tables said 2.0. AGP 8.9.1 or later and compileSdk 36.
- Legacy (-kotlin1.9): AGP 8.6 or later, where the tables said 8.1 to 8.5. compileSdk 35.
The SDK now declares its AGP and compileSdk minimums, so Gradle stops an app's build below them and names the version it needs. CI also fails if a dependency update would raise any minimum.
- Minified builds work again for apps on OkHttp 5. Apps on OkHttp 5 without the OkHttp BOM failed at the R8 step, because an SDK dependency referenced a class OkHttp 5 removed. The SDK no longer pulls in that dependency.
Changes
- Added a form sheet presentation style through the new Config.PresentationStyle option (FULL_SCREEN or FORM_SHEET)
- Documented the minimum Kotlin, AGP, and compileSdk for both variants, declared the AGP and compileSdk minimums in the AAR so Gradle flags an app below them at build time, and checked them in CI (#300, #308)
- Updated internal SDK dependencies, which fixes minified builds for apps on OkHttp 5 (#299, #300)

Requirements
Latest
- Kotlin: 2.1+ (build version 2.2.21)
- Gradle: 8.11.1+ (build version 8.14.2)
- AGP: 8.9.1+ (build version 8.13.2)
- Compile SDK: 36+ (build version 36)
- Min SDK: 23 (build version 23)
- Tested Target SDK: 36 (build version 36)
Legacy (-kotlin1.9)
- Kotlin: 1.9.x (build version 1.9.25)
- Gradle: 8.7+ (build version 8.14.2)
- AGP: 8.6+ (build version 8.6.1)
- Compile SDK: 35+ (build version 35)
- Min SDK: 23 (build version 23)
- Tested Target SDK: 36 (build version 36)
JetBrains tests Kotlin 1.9.x only through AGP 8.1, so the Kotlin Gradle plugin warns that AGP 8.6+ is above its tested range. The warning is expected. The build works, and CI verifies the legacy artifact against it.
