Impact
- First stable release of the Capacitor plugin.
- Minimum iOS version is now 15.0. The bump to iOS SDK 3.28.0 drops support for iOS 13 and 14. Apps using this plugin will need to target iOS 15.0 or higher.
- Developers can now inspect the Transact web view when debugging integration issues — via Safari Web Inspector on iOS and Chrome DevTools (chrome://inspect) on Android.
- The Manage paylink experience is now fully supported, including the new manage operation type and deeplink routing to pay-now, expenses, orders, and suggestions.
- Ionic apps built for web can now use Transact via the userlink flow — previously iOS/Android only.
- Integrators can pause and resume a Transact session in progress, matching the native iOS and Android SDK capabilities.
- Picks up iOS SDK 3.28.0, which reduces the framework footprint from ~9.6 MB to under 1 MB in released apps and fixes several memory leaks and rare browser crashes.
